Placing Orders for Goods

By placing an Order for Goods through the Service, You warrant that You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts.


Your Information

If You wish to place an Order for Goods available on the Service, You may be asked to supply certain information relevant to Your Order including, without limitation, Your name, Your email, Your phone number, Your credit card number, the expiration date of Your credit card, Your billing address, and Your shipping information.

You represent and warrant that: (i) You have the legal right to use any credit or debit card(s) or other payment method(s) in connection with any Order; and that (ii) the information You supply to us is true, correct and complete.

By submitting such information, You grant us the right to provide the information to payment processing third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Your Order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel Your Order at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to:


Goods availability

Errors in the description or prices for Goods

Errors in Your Order


We also reserve the right to refuse or cancel Your Order if fraud or an unauthorised or illegal transaction is suspected.

 

Your Order Returns and Cancellations

Any Goods you purchase can only be returned in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and Our Returns Policy.

Return and Cool Down Period

Please note that currently all of our products are made to order to limit waste and storage costs. We provide detailed measurements and material information on our product page to enable customers make an informed choice. 

In accordance with EU law, the cooling-off period does not apply to certain purchases, such as but not limited to: 

  • Personalised or custom-made products (please note that this pertains to the majority of products on our site)

  • Products with a short shelf life that spoil quickly

  • Products that cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons

  • Leisure services that are for a set date or period such as hotel bookings, car rental or concert tickets

  • Passenger transport services such as bus, rail or air

  • Sale items or gift cards.

 

For qualifying items (which will be clearly marked as such) we provide a 14-day return policy (cool down period) in compliance with European law, and means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. Before the cooling-off period ends, you must tell the seller you want to cancel. You must do this in writing by email or post, or by using the cancellation form provided by the seller.

To qualify for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it,  with tags, and in its original packaging. Underwear and socks need to be returned unworn for hygienic reasons. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You have a right to a refund within 14 days of cancellation using the same payment method you used to pay for the order.

 

Cancellation:
You can cancel or change your order within 24h of ordering. Please bear in mind that production usually starts within a short time after placing the order, once this proceeded, we are not able to cancel and have to process a return.

 

To start a return or cancel your order, you can contact us at info@thegoodvirgo.ie. Please note that our business address is not our return address, and we will provide you with the closest return address for your product when you contact us. 

 

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Return Costs

You are responsible for returning the product and cover the return costs. Exceptions are damaged, defect, and falsely advertised items as specified under “Damages and Defects”. 


Damages, Defects, Incorrectly advertised

We want to be sure that you like your order and we are committed to making things right in case of defects and errors in our advertising. We will provide you a solution in case of any issues if you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will need clear and well-lit photos indicating any issues so that we can provide you with a solution. In case of defects and damages resulting from production or transport or errors in our advertising, we will refund the costs of returning the item. 

Please do not return items without contacting us at info@thegoodvirgo.ie first to confirm that the return is approved and the product required to be sent back, as we cannot provide you with a refund for the return costs in such a case. 


Availability, Errors and Inaccuracies

We are constantly updating Our offerings of Goods on the Service. The Goods available on Our Service may be mispriced, described inaccurately, or unavailable, and We may experience delays in updating information regarding our Goods on the Service and in Our advertising on other websites.

We cannot and do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability, and services. We reserve the right to change or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.


Prices Policy

The Company reserves the right to revise its prices at any time prior to accepting an Order.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.


Payments

All Goods purchased are subject to a one-time payment. Payment can be made through various payment methods we have available through Shopify payments and PayPal, such as Visa, MasterCard, Affinity Card, American Express cards. The availability of payment methods may be subject to change. 

Payment cards (credit cards or debit cards) are subject to validation checks and authorization by Your card issuer. If we do not receive the required authorization, We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of Your Order.


Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by You, other users, or Company merchants), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors.

The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Country and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of the Company.
